The Seekers

Blood and lies

Does anyone else realize just how wrong the decision they’re making is while in the middle of making said decision? Yet would still go ahead to make it? Then regret every second of making said decision?
That was me right now, in a completely messed up situation because I said yes to this dude who’d shown up uninvited to ask I repay a favor.
Now why would I accept something like that, You might ask. And why was I owing this dude a favor in the first place?

Well, because the dude in question was Mathew Sinclair, the older brother of my childhood best friend, and the favor was to help find said childhood best friend.

I cursed as I wiped the blood dripping from the corner of my mouth and stared at the olive-skinned, wolfish looking man halfway across the room from me who’d just hit me.

“Ow?” I cried, wincing.

I hated these guys.

"You cannot escape,” the man said in a calm, yet firm tone. "Struggling is useless".

Oh, there’s a genius. Go figure. I had no idea.

"Piss off,” I replied out loud instead, because there was really nothing else more I could’ve said. A WOLFISH LOOKING MAN, I repeat, CLEARLY NOT A REGULAR GUY I WAS WILLING TO FIGHT OFF.

CEO for one day

Chapter one

The office is unusually busy today, Cat thought to herself, looking around, Why’s everyone behaving like they’re on a mission or something?

She continued to ask herself a few more questions in her head as she ambled in through the corporation's automatic doors. And those still freaked her out.

“I just really wonder how they know to open just when you approach and close right after you walk past.” She said out loud to no one in particular, then she realized she’d just said that out loud and immediately blushed. What if someone had heard her?

She felt so old school just thinking about it, but that thought dissipated just as fast as she’d thought it, because someone had-quite painfully- pushed her to the side. “Watch it!” A body guard following right after the person who’d pushed her barked.

“Ow?” She yelled, rubbing her shoulder and looking back at who had pushed her.

“Walkway.” Another other bodyguard muttered icily, striding ahead clearly in a hurry, not even glancing back at her.

She suddenly stiffened. Uh oh.

Australia: It’s Illegal to Disrupt a Wedding

BY ETIENOABASI NANA

So back in 2018, during what was supposed to be a beautiful, solemn wedding in South Australia, one guest decided it was the perfect time to channel his very loud displeasure of the event because, apparently, the bride—his ex-girlfriend—was moving on for real, and he couldn’t believe this was actually happening.

I did some Research and found out some really weird Laws that exist around the world!
